FP7/DXB has successfully retained Jawwy, the digital mobile brand from STC.
Earlier this year FP7/DXB re-pitched for the opportunity to continue its partnership with Jawwy. The new contract ends in April 2019 and includes a full mix of integrated creative services with the main focus of the account to be on performance and social advertising.
Leading the brief, Tarek Miknas, CEO of FP7 MENA, says in a statement: “Two years ago we had the opportunity to help launch Jawwy from STC in the Saudi market so it’s a real pleasure to have been retained to help the brand as it gains traction and builds momentum. Jawwy from STC is a genuine disruptor in the telco sector and we’re constantly trying to find ways to tell its story and push for trial.”
Andrew Williams, vice-president of communications and social media, adds: “We were lucky enough to receive a number of high quality proposals from some excellent agencies. In the end, however, FP7 stood out for its digital excellence, understanding of our business and its dogged determination to keep working with us. We’re delighted to reappoint FP7 and to work with them over the coming months to meet our business goals.”
