LinkedIn has revealed some of the most inspiring voices in the media buying and advertising world, naming the individuals who published the most engaging content on the platform as part of its Agency Publisher of the Year initiative. The initiative launched in August, encouraged agency professionals to publish long form posts on the platform offering comment and insight on the industry, using the hashtag #agencypublisher.
LinkedIn measured the influence of these posts using weighted engagement signals such as views, likes and most importantly, comments, and presented the Agency Publisher of the Year 2015 Award to those individuals achieving the highest scores in the North America, Europe and the Middle East, and Asia Pacific markets.
Elie Khouri, CEO of Omnicom Media Group MENA, who ranked first in the Middle East and second in the Europe and Middle East region says in a press statement, “What I value most about using LinkedIn’s publishing platform is the ability to start a conversation.
