Run by digital agency Intigral, regional digital incubator Afkar.me has selected three startups for incubation: e-health service MedsConnect for people suffering from chronic illnesses, mRusta, a socially connected online listings platform, and Kanari, a cloud-based platform that allows businesses to collect, track and analyze customer experience data.
Startups were chosen based on their high scalability potential, a solid digital element that can benefit from Intigral’s expertise – as well as its access to the market via customers such as STC – and viable problem-solving utility and function.
“From over 150 entries across the globe we have found some extremely promising startups. Each brings a unique value proposition to solve very scalable problems across healthcare, customer loyalty, and trusted listings. I am confident that each idea will not only positively benefit from both the cash injection and incubation at our offices, but bring a true market led innovation to the region benefiting the wider digital ecosystem,” comments Juan Jose Del La Torre (J.J.), VP of Digital at Intigral and lead judge.
Each startup will receive a $20,000 funding, a dedicated business lead who will drive the incubation, and office space within Intigral’s offices, expert mentorship, and product development services (design, marketing and PR, business development, legal support and exchange programs with international incubators).
