This week looks like a fresh set of players, as Audi tops the chart at number one and lands the number three spot. Nescafe is silver this week, at number two, and Emirates falls to the bottom of the chart, taking up eighth and ninth places. Etisalat Misr and du are representing the telecommunications industries landing at fourth and tenth on this week’s list.

Communicate’s Middle East Ads Chart is devised using data compiled by the Unruly Viral Video Chart: a comprehensive source for video sharing data around the globe since 2006 that measures the share of voice and campaign effectiveness. Owned and operated by video ad tech company Unruly, the chart tracks and ranks the most popular videos on the web, across YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo and Vine from brands and agencies across the Middle East, based on the number of times the content has been shared across Facebook, Twitter and the blogosphere.

Last week’s second runner-up, Mobinil’s “ذيع موهبتك مع موبينيل – الموسم الأول”,  jumped to number one on this week’s ad chart, while Starbucks Middle East’s “Pumpkin Spice Latte”, which didn’t make the cut last week, came in at number two. Emirates’ ad spot featuring Jennifer Aniston, also not on last week’s chart, is taking up ninth place this time around. Meanwhile, Etisilat Misr’s “ست عجوزة بتحاول تعدي الشارع”, which was at seventh place last week, fell to number ten this time.

Emirates takes the top spot again this week; however, this time, the ad features Emirates flight attendants presenting a safety demonstration at a football match in Lisbon. Second place is taken by Mobinil, which has three spots on the ads chart again this week. Almarai takes two spots this week as third and fourth place as is Etisalat Misr at number seven and ten.

Owned and operated by video ad tech company Unruly, the chart tracks and ranks the most popular videos on the web, across YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo and Vine from brands and agencies across the Middle East, based on the number of times the content has been shared across Facebook, Twitter and the blogosphere.

The latest ad by Emirates featuring Jennifer Aniston has dropped significantly this week on the Unruly Middle East Ads Chart to ninth place. Mobinil is represented heavily on the chart, however, taking up three spots – numbers 1, 3 and 8. On the other hand, Starbucks Middle East’s ad featuring the world famous Pumpkin Spice Latte put the coffee company in second place on the chart.  KFC also made multiple appearances on this week’s list, at fourth and sixth places.

Probably not surprisingly, the top of the Unruly Middle East Ads Chart this week is Emirates new campaign featuring their latest brand ambassador, Jennifer Aniston; new views for the video in the past seven days reached 97, 181. Following this, second and third place are taken by the telecommunications industry. The silver goes to Vodafone Egypt and the bronze to Mobinil. Barbican, although it only reached the ninth spot, is this week’s newcomer.

STC topped the chart this week with a whopping 56,805 views. Last week’s number one ad from KFC dropped to sixth place. Food seems to be a trend over the Eid holiday, as third place is Almarai, with Nescafé and McDonald’s Arabia coming in eighth and ninth. Second, fifth and tenth place are taken over by the automotive industry, with Nissan, Jaguar, and Mercedez representing on this week’s chart.

The video view rate has dropped off this week, with the most popular regional video receiving just over 5,000 views. The top ad goes to Mobily, which was last weeks number seven spot. In fact, gold and silver this week go to Mobily, which occupies the top two spots on the chart. Communicate’s Middle East Ads Chart is devised using data compiled by the Unruly Viral Video Chart: a comprehensive source for video sharing data around the globe since 2006 that measures share of voice and campaign effectiveness. Owned and operated by video ad tech company Unruly, it tracks and ranks the most popular videos on the web, across YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo and Vine videos from brands and agencies across the Middle East based on the amount of times the content has been shared across Facebook, Twitter and the blogosphere.

Kicking off the video chart this week is Jaguar MENA’s “The New XJ” ad, with a new view count of 14,217 over the past week. Ranking in second place, another new ad makes the list being one of three total ads on this week’s top ten from Etisalat Misr. Last week’s number one drops to the number three spot, Mobinil’s “Ramadan Song”, which gained an additional 13,200 views this week. New to this week’s list are STC, Nescafe and Rani Float ads, ranking at six, seven, and nine.
