Centre of Digital Excellence (CODE), a Canada-based digital consultancy has announced MASHUP, a regional digital marketing conference in Kuwait scheduled to take place on 16th and 17th November at Kuwait Fair Ground Hall 7. The conference aims to unite innovators and visionaries to discuss how technology, market trends and new business models are changing the way business is conducted in the age of the connected consumer. “We are an exclusive event for senior level marketers with a single focus, digital marketing. The conference offers new and valuable perspectives on the digital shift that affects current business modules and how to conduct effective cross-channel attribution in their marketing programs,” explains Fady Kamal, CEO of CODE.
Conference themes will include the effect of digital technologies on consumer behavior, new approaches to advertising and branding, social networks, the blogosphere and impact of “citizen” journalism. “The thing that is most important when it comes to digitization and trends are that they are all the result of one underlying factor: changes in customer demand patterns and dynamics. Therefore, in our talks we spend a lot of time addressing a range of topics from the digital marketing ecosystem of a business, which is a combination of all the relevant touch points, the people that interact with them, including the business processes and technological environments,” explains Kamal.
He expects about 250 attendees since it’s an exclusive event with a highly targeted audience. The event will also host training sessions for the attendees on topics based on emerging trends and digital skills. Commenting on the selection of speakers, Kamal says: “It was important for us to identify speakers that are held high in esteem in the digital community wherever they are found. Most of them – whether brands or individuals – are opinion and thought leaders who are recognized as experts and are sought after in international conferences”.
