Al Rifai vs. Castania

Al Rifai vs. Castania

Mother’s Day is one of these occasions that has social media platforms buzzing with posts from users, and variations on “Happy Mother’s Day” messages from brands. So, on March 18, Al Rifai posted on its Facebook page the Mother’s Day ad created by advertising agency Rizk Group, using the headline “Thank You for Loving Me since I was this Big” – the size of a peanut. Three days later, an ad created by advertising agency Impact BBDO appeared on Castania’s Facebook page using Arabic headline saying “I Love You since I was the Size of a Peanut”. The resemblance between the two ads begs the question. What do you think? Share your opinion on: Communicate Online and @CommunicateME
