Augustus, the parent company of Lovin Dubai and Lovin Saudi has made two new hires, to amplify its content and commercial offerings.
Matias Jeldrez joins as commercial director. Over past 10 years, Jeldrez has worked across digital disciplines within creative agencies such as Cheil, media agencies such as Mindshare and Havas, and publishers such as ITP and Ninemsn Microsoft predominantly in digital strategy, planning, and operations.
He has worked across major brands as the digital lead managing high volume budgets on Nissan, Zurich, and Dubai Tourism Local and Global.
In his role as commercial director for We Are Augustus, Jeldrez will be responsible for the commercial offerings of Lovin Dubai, Lovin Saudi and Smashi TV.
Amy Jones joins as content director. After studying Marketing at Newcastle University, Jones moved to London to work for creative agency Spinnaker, where she started as an account executive working up to account director. In her latter role, Jones headed up all entertainment clients at the agency including Sony Pictures UK & IRE, Home Ents, Sony TV, Disney, Paramount and Universal Music.
After nearly seven years at Spinnaker, she moved to Dubai in 2018 to set up the content department at RBBi, a digital UX-based agency. And now, she says, “Wanting to get back to my roots in the fast-paced content production side of things, I’m here, at Augustus Media, where I’m really happy to be joining the team.”
Jones will be overseeing all of Augustus Media’s content output, both commercial and editorial, on all brands.
