Leo Burnett has appointed Joëlle Jammal as deputy managing director of Leo Burnett Dubai. Previously she was the managing director for Leo Burnett Jordan and Iraq before moving to Dubai to lead some of Leo Burnett’s accounts such as McDonald’s, Bel and Ferrero.
Reporting to executive regional managing director Kamal Dimachkie, she will play an integral part in the growth of the creative agency. Jammal will also be the key point of contact for senior clients across the organization and lead innovative and creative solutions for current and prospective accounts.
Dimachkie says in a statement: “In an effort to rise up to challenges in today’s climate and secure the breadth of leadership the future will require, I would like to welcome Joëlle to her new position. Her leadership will be crucial as we grow our business on all fronts.”
Jammal brings 25 years of advertising experience across the MENA region. Prior to Leo Burnett, Jammal has held senior roles in global digital creative shops within Publicis Groupe including Saatchi & Saatchi, as well as D’Arcy, Promoseven and Weber Shandwick.
“I am excited by the new challenge of growing our business and the relationships I have built over the last ten years with the team at Leo Burnett and our clients. We will continue to grow our multi-channel offering to our clients, and ensure a holistic approach to creative across all touch points,” adds Jammal.
