Today, Alex Saber, chairman of Publicis Media announced that Starcom will have a new CEO in MENA. Taking over the reins is Racha Makarem who was most recently the managing director of the data science practice.

It is with this in mind that Publicis Media has invested in transformative talent to build our capabilities across Strategy, Digital, Data, Analytics & Insights, which drive more informed business decisions,” the company says in a statement.
Makarem has been at Publicis Media since the last 15 years with a strong focus on analytics, insights and research. She is also a board member at IAB MENA, and was a technical consultant with JIC for audience measurement in the region.

Makarem will report into Steve Parker, CEO of Publicis Media in MENA and Alex Saber, Chairman of Publicis Media in MENA.
