Inviting European markets to escape their gloomy winter,
Dubai Tourism called upon Europe’s most famous weather ladies and meteorologists to broadcast their regular weather show but at a different location: the Dubai beach with the iconic Burj Al Arab in the background.
The segment starts with the regular jingle as the weather ladies talk about the rainy, gloomy and freezing temperatures in their respective countries – while the camera zooms out to show the Dubai beach as the host takes off to enjoy some sunshine.
The weather broadcasts will appear on European television stations in the UK, Germany, Italy, France and Russia while audio forecasts will feature on radio stations.
The initiative gained further support with tactical weather banners that changed along with the time of day, as well as an outdoor livestream of Dubai’s bright skies on a backdrop of Europe’s cold iron-gray ones.
