In collaboration with JWT Dubai, Nokia has released a new campaign targeting Filipinos working in the UAE. Under the title “I’m coming home”, the campaign features visuals inspired by Teks cards, playing cards that contain comic strips and texts placed within speech balloons, which Filipino children collect traditionally.
Based on the insight that Filipinos working in the UAE don’t get to go home to see their families very often, the “I’m coming home” integrated campaign, a collaborative effort between JWT Dubai and Carat MENA, and is part of the long term media deal negotiated by CARAT MENA with The Filipino Channel (TFC). The campaign gives expats the chance to see the people they love most on Valentine’s Day; by using ‘Teks Cards’, the campaign informs viewers that they could win a trip back home if they submit their own story via Facebook .
