twofour54 and Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) have renewed their partnership for the sixth consecutive year to support the creative and cultural industries in the UAE and nurture skills development for the media sector. Both parties have signed a Letter of Cooperation signifying a mutual interest to collaborate on programmes in various disciplines of media and creativity.
Signed by CEO of twofour54 Noura Al Kaabi and H.E. Hoda Al Khamis-Kanoo, founder of ADMAF, the Letter of Cooperation acknowledges the shared principles and goals of the two organisations, and will see them collaborate on the Young Media Leaders Program; training initiatives and workshops; and particularly in relation to developing and supporting future leaders of the media industry.
The two organizations will team up to develop joint activities that foster growth, development and awareness of media, the creative and cultural industries in the UAE, with a focus on young adult Emiratis and the wider Emirati community. As part of the partnership, the two organisations will establish a new mechanism for effective sharing of information amongst the filmmaking community, aiming to support emerging and established Emirati film-makers.
twofour54’s talent development department will collaborate with ADMAF to facilitate training programmes, workshops and lectures to encourage creative and critical thinking among young people and students. Moreover, twofour54 and ADMAF will continue to work together to further develop the successful Young Media Leaders Programme and internship opportunities.
At the signing of the agreement, Al Kaabi says, “Our partnership with ADMAF plays a significant role in supporting our mission to nurture young talent and equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead successful careers in the media industry. The agreement will provide talented individuals with access to twofour54’s unique offerings and services, helping to sustainably grow our local media industry. This year marks the sixth anniversary of our collaboration with ADMAF and we look forward to continuing this mutually beneficial alliance.”
Al Khamis-Kanoo also says, “ADMAF and twofour54 share an unwavering commitment to investing in the creative and cultural industries of Abu Dhabi. Through collaborations that span media, the comic arts and film – in both training and practice – together, we are sowing the seeds of creativity and innovation among the next generation. This Letter of Co-operation affirms the strong bonds between our two organisations, and gives welcome momentum to further joint initiatives in the future.”
