The Parent and Child Wellbeing Conference gets ready for its 2nd edition

Mediaquest, the media and data analytics conglomerate which hosts major regional events including the “MENA Effie Awards” and “TOP CEO Conference and Awards” and the parent company of Communicate, is set for the second edition of its “Parent & Child Wellbeing Conference” in partnership with Baby Arabia and Makooky World. The event will take place on Saturday, March 23, from 10am to 6pm at the Kings’ School, Al Barsha, Dubai, following on from the successful launch of the inaugural conference in 2018.

This year’s theme is ‘Body and Mind’ with a focus on ‘Wellness’ and ‘Learning through Play’. There will be four main panel sessions, with leading industry experts from the UAE discussing current and trending topics: ‘Practical Parenting’, ‘How Does Food Impact Health?’, ‘Building Resilience – Understanding Children and Adolescence Mental Health’ and a workshop on ‘Cyber Bullying’.

Dr. Ellena Maria Andrioti, Clinical Psychologist, said: “By bringing together a multidisciplinary team of professionals who work on a daily basis with children, parents and families, the Parent and Child Wellbeing conference will give parents the ability to gain relevant information on parenting issues they face on a daily basis. Participants will be able to get practical evidence-based parenting tips and get some insights/answers related to their parenting challenges and experiences.”

The one-day event will take on a new format and expansion with the introduction of an outdoor ‘Community Market’ in collaboration with local businesses that promote wellness and education, with more than twenty local businesses exhibiting.
